About · Our Company

Built for environments where everything counts.

MetroSys exists because infrastructure failure has real consequences. Rockets don’t launch. Hospitals lose connectivity. Financial platforms go down. These are not abstract risks — they are the daily reality of our customers, and they shaped how we built the firm.

The practice begins

MetroSys is incorporated as a solo consulting practice — one practitioner, serving enterprise infrastructure environments where precision was the whole job.

The firm is built

A core team comes together. Operating doctrine is codified. The services-first integrator model is formalized. A practice becomes a firm.

Workforce enters the model

MetroSys adds a workforce practice — expanding from infrastructure services into staffing and workforce delivery for enterprise clients.

Scale through discipline

The firm scales across technology, professional services, telecom, and workforce — each pillar built around the same operating standard.

Product enters the model

MetroSys begins selling products alongside services — extending the integrator model into hardware, software, and platform resale for existing customers.

Next chapter

After eight years of partnership since 2018, MetroSys acquires Data Centric Enterprises — an IT VAR focused on aerospace, spaceflight, manufacturing, and public-sector customers, following the founder’s decision to retire.

Built in 2016 by practitioners with enterprise careers already behind them. The firm is a decade old; the discipline is older.

MetroSys was built by people who have operated inside those environments. We know what precision looks like at the enterprise level — and what it costs when things are done reactively instead of architecturally. We bring that knowledge to every engagement, not as consultants observing from the outside, but as practitioners who have lived it.

That precision is not accidental. It is intentional. And in environments where performance, security, and continuity define success — everything counts.

Our doctrine

Three beliefs — the foundation the firm was built on.

Belief 01

Excellence and humility can coexist.

We have deep expertise and zero arrogance. The depth is earned — which is exactly why it doesn’t need performing.

Belief 02

Preparation prevents chaos.

Architecture, planning, and sequencing are not overhead. They are the work. The smallest decision in architecture can have the largest downstream consequence.

Belief 03

Long-term partnership outlasts transactions.

We are not here for the deal. We are here for what the deal makes possible. Governance and lifecycle management outlive the go-live date.

Next chapter

The firm, continued.

In Q2 2026, MetroSys acquires Data Centric Enterprises (DCE) — an IT VAR we’ve partnered with since 2018 across storage, compute, networking, and data protection.

This isn’t a cold acquisition. Eight years of joint delivery on DCE’s customer roadmaps already runs through our services bench. The transition follows DCE’s founder’s decision to retire after more than a decade of building the firm into a boutique VAR for aerospace, spaceflight, manufacturing, public-sector, and insurance customers — many of whom have stayed with DCE for the better part of a decade.

What the combined firm gains: broader product depth — DCE’s NetApp strength joins our NetApp practice; HPE and Juniper extend our platform portfolio. Deeper customer relationships — DCE’s customer book is not transactional. And a staffing capability we extended to DCE from day one of the partnership, now consolidated under one accountable firm.

The operating doctrine doesn’t change. Practitioner-led engagements. Architect-first discipline. Carrier-neutral advocacy. The firm grows; the standard doesn’t move.

Identity signals

Four certifications that are more than procurement categories — they’re character.

Veteran-Owned (pending)

Service culture. Mission-first thinking.

Operational discipline, precision under pressure, and accountability instilled through military service are foundational to how the firm operates today. Veteran-owned is not a procurement category. It’s the operating culture.

NGLCC-Certified LGBTBE

Inclusion is identity — not a program.

MetroSys is a certified LGBTQ+-owned business through the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce. Inclusion is the identity of the firm, not a calendar event.

SBE Certified

Eligible for supplier diversity programs.

Small Business Enterprise certification enables participation in supplier diversity programs at the enterprise and public sector level — including set-aside contracts and preferred-vendor status.

SME Certified Business

Certified supplier of record.

SME Certified Business status enables participation in procurement programs and supplier pools that prioritize certified small/medium enterprise designation.
